File a Complaint

Discover the tools provided by Dalus Capital to maintain the integrity of its projects

At Dalus Capital, we are deeply committed to ensuring that our investments drive positive societal and environmental impact. To maintain the highest ethical standards, we have implemented an Impact Grievance Mechanism to address any concerns or grievances related to the environmental, social, or governance impacts of our investments.

This mechanism provides a formal process for stakeholders to report grievances, ensuring that all concerns are handled transparently, fairly, and efficiently. We believe that open communication with our stakeholders is essential to ensuring the positive and transformative impact of our investments.

Who Can File a Grievance?

Our mechanism is open, but not limited, to:

  • Founders and employees of companies in which we invest.

  • Local communities and individuals affected by our portfolio companies’ operations.

  • Limited partners and other stakeholders are concerned with our impact practices.

  • Employees and partners of Dalus Capital.

Grievance Submission Process

We encourage stakeholders to submit grievances through any of the following channels:

  • Email: Send a detailed description of your grievance to quejas@daluscapital.com

  • Survey: Complete the survey located at the bottom of the page.

When submitting a grievance, Individuals will be encouraged to include:

  1. A clear description of the issue.

  2. How does it relate to Dalus Capital’s investment activities or one of its portfolio companies?

  3. Even if it is not mandatory to include evidence, it would be helpful to attach any relevant documentation or evidence supporting the claim.

All grievances will be treated confidentially, and anonymous submissions will be considered. We receive grievances in English and Spanish.

Response Process

Upon receiving a grievance:

  1. Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge receipt of the grievance and determine the eligibility of it within 5 business days.

  2. Investigation: A thorough investigation will be conducted by our team.

  3. Resolution Proposal: A proposed resolution will be communicated to the concerned party within 30 days of receiving the grievance. If further time is required due to complexity, we will provide periodic updates. This resolution will include a concrete action plan defined together with all the players involved.

  4. Implementation and Monitoring: Once the resolution has been accepted it will be implemented in a specific time frame and will be subject to periodic review and monitoring.

Appeal: If the concerned party is not satisfied with the proposed resolution, they may request a review by Dalus Capital's leadership team.

Commitment to Transparency

Dalus Capital will maintain a record of all grievances received, including how they were resolved. We are committed to learning from grievances to improve our processes and ensure our investments continue to generate positive societal and environmental impacts.
